Our mission is to ensure we are using Australian wool, value adding and increasing the consumption of crossbred wool locally and globally, reducing our reliance and use of synthetics, ensuring we are not adding to landfill through biodegradable natural fibres and creating a sustainable future for our farmers and next generation.
What is done on-shore in Australia:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Australian sheep grow the wool and harvest during shearing
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Wool is pressed into bales and transported for shipping
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The wool is shipped to India
What is done off-shore in India:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Wool is washed, combed and dyed - click here to watch the process, based on merino
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Followed by felted or weaved into material
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Manufactured into accessories and coats and returned back to Australia
What is done back on-shore in Australia:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Transported back to Hamilton
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Stored, wrapped and packaging - allowing us to post the products to their new home
